The movement component of a panda includes both their skeletal and muscular system. Panda's rely on their front paws and hind legs to be able to walk, run and climb trees successfully. The muscular system is used to be able to haul its self up tall trees and to be able to run through the forest. The skeletal system of a panda is designed to be able to grasp its food with their enlarged wrist bone (extra thumb). The "extra thumb is used to be able to grasp a stick of bamboo and eat it.Unlike normal bears, panda's don't hibernate therefore they need to be able to eat throughout the whole year and need extra durable muscles so that in the winter they can climb tall trees to stay cool.
